In 2019 Cherry Red Records released a 3 CD compilation album, called "Birth Of A Nation: Inevitable Records – An Independent Liverpool 1979-1986". 10 of the songs that Freeze Frame recorded on Inevitable Records were on the CDs, plus 4 Peel Sessions recordings.

In 2019 Cherry Red Records also released the 4 CD compilation "Electrical Language: Independent British Synth Pop 78-84", where "Your Voice" was one of the songs.

In 2018 Cherry Red Records released a compilation album, called "Revolutionary Spirit: The Sound Of Liverpool 1976-1988", where Freeze Frames "Touch" was one of the tracks.

In 2014 Steve is planning to release a book he`s written - called "Last Day of the Month". He is also thinking of releasing a Solo Album called "More Songs About Kitchens and Stairs - The Llay Tapes", with songs recorded between 1998 and 2003.

In November 2010 Steve Byrne started up a blog where he tells stories from daily life, and current issues.
